Welcome to your new home at IWU!
When you left your residence hall so many years ago, you probably never imagined you would ever stay on campus again. Well … here is your opportunity.
What was originally the President’s Home has been remodeled and moved to become IWU’s first Alumni Center.
Several enhancements have been made to this nearly 3,000-square-foot, two-story brick home to provide you with a comfortable and private stay while you visit the IWU campus. The house has three individual bedrooms on the second floor, each with a queen-size bed and private bath. The Alumni Center also has a fireplace lounge on the first floor with ample space to relax and meet with friends, and a memorabilia room where you can reminisce.
- Room #1 faces the south. It is a spacious bedroom with a walk-in closet, cable television, alarm clock/radio, iron, desk, two chairs, and a shower in the bathroom.
- Room #2 faces the John Wesley Administration Building. It has a large closet, cable television, dresser, alarm clock/radio, iron, chair, and a shower in the bathroom.
- Room #3 also faces the John Wesley Administration Building. It has a spacious closet, cable television, alarm clock/radio, iron and ironing board, chair, and a shower/tub in the bathroom.
While your children are also welcome on campus, the Alumni Center itself is not conducive to an overnight stay for children. In addition to offices being located in the Center, the guest rooms are in close proximity to one another, and we wish to keep disturbances to a minimum.
We invite you to stay in “your” house on campus next time you come to visit your alma mater. The alumni offices are located near the foyer of the Alumni Center.
For more information about the rooms in the Alumni House and their availability, contact the Alumni Office at 765-677-2110 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Alumni Center is located on the corner of 44th and Landess Streets, on the southwest corner of campus. If you enter the campus from the Washington Street entrance, you will see the Alumni Center on the right side of the road. It is a two-story red brick house. Convenient parking is available for guests on Landess Street.
